 Other Information Alkyl Polyglycosides (APG) is called new generation envirementally friendly surfactants. They have not been produced on the commercial scale until the nineties in the world. APGs are classified as nonionic surfactants. The feedstock of APG is based on fatty alcohol and glucose, which are obtained from renewable native resources. Thus, APGs are completely biodegradable. Because of their non-toxicity, non-irritation and many excellent surface-active performances, the APGs are widely used in the fields of detergents, cosmetics, food and medicines.

APG0810 is a nonionic surfactant. Due to it is made from natural raw materials; APG0810 is very mild and readily biodegradable. The product is generally used as a secondary surfactant for personal care cleansing products, because of its excellent mildness, foaming performance and ability to reduce irritation. Because it also exhibits excellent caustic stability and solubility in highly concentrated salt, alkali and surfactant solution, APG0810 can be used for caustic, neutral and acidic hard surface cleaning for the household and institutional sector. The turbidity of the product is attributable to the combination of its magnesium oxide content (≦400 ppm magnesium) and its pH value. The turbidity has no negative effects on the products and disappears when the pH is adjusted to below 9.
